The bespoke joinery which spans the opening into the kitchen has transformed the space into a cosy reading nook. The addition of the book spines add colour and texture.
We assisted with the ground floor re-configuration and refurbishment of this London townhouse, with a strong emphasis on additional joinery throughout. We designed a bookcase to span the entrance between the kitchen and living room.
Our clients were keen to inject colour and warmth which we achieved by painting the walls in a restrained rich green blue, providing a wonderful backdrop for the clients artwork and art we sourced on their behalf, and layering rich fabrics and antique textiles.
The ground floor of the house has been opened up so that there are still separate rooms, but they all flow into each other, with light travelling from the front to the back of the house.
